So we all know that Instagram is always changing, and don’t even get me started on the algorithm. Although it has gotten much harder to grow on Instagram there are still things that can help you expand your reach. Lately I have been seeing a crazy amount of growth on the platform believe it or not and I want to share what seems to be working for me.

First, Let’s talk Stories. You should absolutely be posting on your stories every single day, no excuses. People love stories, they’re a quick way to stay up to date with the people that you follow. We see stories so often that sometimes we forget that they can play a important part in instagram growth. So show up on your stories and reply to other people’s stories as well. Start conversations, reply with a emoji either way engage in stories. Aim to reply to stories as much as you can and stay active on the app to increase growth.

Second, Don’t forget to connect as much as possible. Instagram is one of the top social media sites and it is meant for socializing. When you don’t use the platform for the purpose that it was designed for it can be harder to grow. This is so important. I have made it a point to always engage with others whenever I am on the app. I am constantly commenting, starting conversations, and finding new people to connect with. I feel like this has been a game changer for me. I have seen over 5,000 percent growth in my overall insights this month, which is the most I have every seen. It’s crazy! I still couldn’t believe it when I checked my insights. My reach increased by over 15,000 people. It’s possible to grow but you have to do the work!

Last, but not least. Tackling those DM’s. Responding to your DM’s is also really important. People want to know that you are a real person willing to engage in real conversations. So don’t neglect those DM’s. Replying and interacting can make a big difference in the way you are able to reach people. The messaging on Instagram is constantly advancing and it’s not for nothing. Instagram knows that messaging is another way for people to connect so take advantage of it.
