Smile more, worry less! That’s easy to do when you’re on vacation but what about when the vacation is over. When it’s time to get back to reality it’s a lot harder not to stress. Stress is a part of life but it’s how you deal with it that matters!
One of the most healthy ways of dealing with stress is rest. You need your sleep. It can be hard to sleep when your stressed and you have a lot on your mind. I overstand. Try doing things prior to going to sleep to help your body relax before bed. Try a hot bath or shower, drinking tea, stretching or even some deep breaths and meditation. If you can wind down before laying down you’ll have a better chance at falling asleep. If all else fails try natural sleeping aids to help you get the rest your body needs.
Exercising regularly is a great stress reliever. Not only do you burn calories you also burn steam. Get active if you aren’t already. This is a great way to handle stress and a great way to keep stress to a minimum. Many people like running,boxing, and cycling as specific exercises to relieve stress.
Try to avoid or reduce stress triggers. You don’t need anything or anyone around you that causes stress. It’s time to leave that all behind. You may have to remove some family members or friends out of your life. Remember your mental health is important and it should be a priority. Stress can cause high blood pressure, diabetes, heart disease and depression. It’s not worth it! Say no to stress and do what is necessary to keep stress to a minimum.
